Inspired by her family’s cooking, she expertly pairs her Mexican recipes with Mi Sueño’s award-winning wines. Lorena’s food and wine have been featured in local and national outlets, such as NBC Bay Area and the Today Show. Experience Lorena Herrera comes from three generations of master vine grafters. She grew up working alongside her siblings in the vineyards of Sonoma, where she met her husband Rolando. With Chardonnay grapes purchased from her father, the couple produced their first vintage and launched Mi Sueño. Lorena learned the art of wine pairing from her mother, one of the first Latina vintners to pair traditional Mexican cuisine with fine wine.
