In recent years, New York’s Hudson Valley has become something of a food and drink destination, thanks in part to the growing number of New Yorkers who have started to make homes there. But even though the region, a roughly 130-mile stretch of towns and small cities running north-south along both sides of the Hudson River, is the oldest wine producing region in America, when it comes to the restaurant, bar, and retail scene, it’s generally been better to BYO if you wanted a decent drop upstate.That’s all changing.
