In the last episode of the season, the Ludo à la Maison star shows us his recipe for a classic flatbread.
[MUSIC] [FOREIGN] I'm going to show you how to do a nom. Nom. Naam bread. Naan. Naan, no? I can't say this **** you guys. Just put subtitles. [BLANK_AUDIO] So for the naan put all the dry in the bowl, all purpose flour, salt. Dry yeast, black sesame seed, baking powder, vadouvan, it's a French curry. We're going to mix that now. As a French chef, I want to do my own bread. And to do your own bread is very technical, takes time, you have to have a lot of space. I feel [UNKNOWN] if you can do [UNKNOWN] with your family. So now, we're going to put everything together in the mixing bowl, milk, yogurt Grapeseed oil, honey, eggs, okay? Voila. Moving to our dry mix. Sunam, it's a bread from the Middle East. And I love this bread because it's so easy to do and it's very, very good. So when I see the big lump like this, it start to be wet and not to dry anymore. I'm going to stop it, and finish it with the hand. If I over work the dough, after the dough's gonna be very, very, very elastic. So I say we're good now, boom. So I'm taking my hand and just press it, and put the dough together. Very good, [SOUND] It's funny, I have one arm is stronger than the other one, like bigger, know what I mean? Wa la, the dough ready, so now I'm gonna just take this dough, put it in the fridge overnight, cover with a wet towel, so that's it. The next day I asked Rica, come with me, we're going to cook some bread. He said yes, he come right away Voila. There's the bread from yesterday. We're gonna grill the bread, okay? Because I'm French, bread is with butter. So I need a little bit of a compound butter with a coconut milk. So butter, we're gonna mix 2 tablespoons of honey. Honey, I love honey. Voila. From the little bear. A little bit of fleur de sel, now we add a bit coconut milk. [FOREIGN] We mix the butter with the coconut milk. It doesn't smell good. Doesn't smell good? No. Okay, one takes the dough like this, one use the arm now. Like this, okay now It's more easy to slice, look, up, up. [UNKNOWN] see, [UNKNOWN] this. [UNKNOWN] we'll do a little ball, like this here, we got [UNKNOWN] on the table. [UNKNOWN] [UNKNOWN]. You put two balls together? Yes. [BLANK_AUDIO] Now we'll press it, okay? [MUSIC] Don't press too much, as an example, don't do that. Luca is pretty intense, as we can see he really beat up the bread, no finesse. But it's fun. We don't want the naan bread to be too thick, guys? It's gonna cook very, very quick so we're gonna make sure inside here is cooked so. Try to make a little bit thinner. Stretch like when you do pizza dough. [UNKNOWN] Are we good? Yes. [FOREIGN]. We will make sure that our barbecue is on. Cooking now on the barbecue. Make sure you're on position medium. Why medium? Because we don't want to burn them. We want them to cook slowly, to have time to raise. It's perfect. Okay. I'll put one on, okay guys? One by one, gentle, put in the front here, no, here, here, here. A la, here, we're good, work for now, okay Rica? Okay. Wa la, so now we close, boom, wa la. So you see how bread's cooking slowly guys, and the bread start to rise little bit, rise, like to proof little bit. It's like a little pillow. That's what we want, that's why we go very slowly. Flip it, [UNKNOWN] you take it after. It's too fire, you're gonna burn yourself. Safety, safety with barbeque, okay? Safety. One more minute, and we're good. Boom, that's it, it's not really a brain surgery. Wha-la, see? [UNKNOWN] guys, look at this. So it's fun in order to do [UNKNOWN] it's very fun, we used to do it as a kid, you [UNKNOWN] them, it's very simple You put some butter- Papa you burned a back. You burned it. That's me? Mm-hm. Why is it me? Because you burned it. Okay, okay but take it. Well so you can play with butter, any flavour you want, or just olive oil, olive oil and garlic or. [BLANK_AUDIO] Can you get it Luca? Yeah Luca! He's in charge, nothing I can do. He wants to do it, I'm not the chef anymore. It's Luca. Voila, so look at this. Beautiful, it smells so good. So we take an arm, cut it like this. [MUSIC] MMM what do you think? Are you doing a sandwich? [SOUND] Yeah I guess you do a sandwich with a nom. Lot of butter, [SOUND] bread and krrgh. Luca Style. [UNKNOWN] It's good? Mm-hm. [FOREIGN] Okay, we say bye bye to people. Bye guys. Bye. [MUSIC] [SOUND]
