[MUSIC] I'm Justin Chapple from Food & Wine test kitchen. Join me as I demonstrate Mad Genius Tips. Every now and then you find yourself needing to slice a lot of let's say strawberries. Well that can be time consuming, and maybe they won't be uniform and maybe they won't be really pretty and gorgeous. So I have a trick for you and it involves this. A lot of you might know this to be an egg slicer and it is. You can slice hard boiled eggs into perfectly even slices but what a lot of people don't know is that it does double, even triple duty. I'm gonna show you what I mean. I'm going to start with a mushroom. I'm gonna set it right into the cup and with one quick motion You have beautiful little slices of button mushrooms. Now lets do a strawberry. Pop it right into the cup of your egg slicer and once again, and you have beautiful uniform slices of strawberry. And now for the olives. Gather three or four olives. Your going to set it right into the little cup of your Egg slicer, and once again, check it out. I've sliced three olives quicker than it normally takes to slice one. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
