El Atoradero is one of those finds that you really hope stays a secret, but it’s so good I just couldn’t keep my mouth shut. Chef Denisse Lina Chavez is making some of the best mole and carnitas in town at this South Brooklyn cantina and it’s because so much love is coming out of the kitchen. Prepare to have a hard time deciding what to order, but you can’t go wrong with anything slathered in that made-from-scratch mole. With cheery patterned wallpaper and beautiful light flooding the space, this spot will end up catching on quickly.—Emily Elyse Miller of Trends on Trends (@trendsontrends_) and F&W's Around the World Network. My name is Denise Chavez and I'm chef from El Atoradero Brooklyn. We have tacos, like carnita's tacos, that's my favorite tacos because I make the carnita's the way how we do it in Michoacán. Remember carnita's come original from Michoacán, so we try to do the way how it is. We put it everything Everything on, and the chorizo, I put my herbs which just herbs, nothing else. I try to get everything as natural. We use our food in Mexico. [MUSIC]
