As long as the status of travel remains in flux, we'll be ordering foods from many of the cities we wish we could visit this year. Thanks to platforms like Goldbelly, it's become wildly easy to eat, say, your favorite Chicago hot dog while living in Philadelphia, or your favorite Philadelphia cheesesteak while living in Chicago.

If you're interested in livening up your weeknight dinners (or supplementing all that great sourdough you're making), here are some of the best, most iconic restaurant foods that will ship straight to your door, from all across the country.

Sicilian Square Pizza from Di Fara

From: Brooklyn, NY

Go with a classic Neopolitan pie, or get indulgent with a thick Sicilian square pie topped with fresh buffalo mozzarella, fior di latte, Parmigiano-Reggiano, tomato sauce, and "scissor cut basil" from owner Domenico De Marco's garden. Whatever you order, you're in for some of the best pies in New York (and arguably the most famous).

Portillo's Hot Dogs

From: Chicago, Illinois

The famous Chicago hot dog shop is shipping their dogs and everything you need to assemble them, including poppy seed buns, kosher pickles, and their special seasoning. (There will absolutely not be any ketchup.) They're also selling Italian beef sandwiches, a "Maxwell St. Polish" package, chocolate cake, and more.

Roast Pork Sandwich from John's Roast Pork

From: Philadelphia, PA

Don't get it twisted—the roast pork sandwich is the best sandwich from Philadelphia, and John's Roast Pork makes the very best one. Though, to be fair, their cheesesteak is the best in its class, too. So, to be balanced, you should order the package that sends you four of each sandwich, so you don't have to choose. Note: They're huge. (You can choose your bread, and we strongly encourage you to go with the traditional seeded.)

Ribs from Pappy's Smokehouse

From: St. Louis, MO

The iconic smokehouse's Memphis-style ribs are pure magic. The dry-rubbed, slow-smoked ribs arrive at your door fully cooked and frozen, accompanied by a bottle of their "Famous Jane's Sweet Barbecue Sauce." (If you want more than ribs, there's a package that includes pulled pork.)

Guava and Cheese Pastry from Porto's Bakery

From: Los Angeles, CA

"Porto’s, famous for both sweet and savory Cuban food, has two greatest hits: guava-and-cheese strudels and picadillo-filled potato balls. These strudels are perfect: flaky and airy and fruity and sweet, but not too sweet. The potato balls, coated in panko and deep-fried, are pure comfort, filled with mashed potatoes, ground beef, peppers, onions, and spices." - F&W contributor Andy Wang, "I Can't Stop Ordering These Cuban Pastries for Myself and Everyone I Know"

New York Brunch from Russ and Daughters

From: New York, NY

There is nothing that soothes the soul more effectively than handmade bagels and lox, and this stunning brunch package from the Lower East Side institution includes some extra goodies, too, like chocolate babka and coffee.

Key Lime Pie from Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe

From: Key West, FL

If you're not going on vacation this year, consider this pie your vacation. The classic pie has a traditional graham cracker crust and rich filling made with the shop's in-house key lime juice.

Commander's Palace Seafood Gumbo

From: New Orleans, LA

If you live outside of New Orleans and miss it desperately, an order of Commander's Palace seafood gumbo may cure you. The iconic restaurant is also selling its famous turtle soup and pecan pie. (Add two loaves of very cheesy garlic bread to your gumbo order for an extra $20.)

Commander's Palace

Ice Cream from Graeter's Ice Cream

From: Cincinnati, OH

Nearly 150 years old, the iconic Ohio shop makes super-creamy French-style ice cream that hits 18% butterfat and is beloved by just about everyone who tries it. Choose an assortment of six different flavors, or just order six pints of the chocolate peanut butter chip and call it a day.

Clam Chowder and Bread Bowls from Boudin Bakery

From: San Francisco, CA

Not only is the Boudin chowder exceptional—and one of the most iconic Bay Area dishes—but the bread bowl itself is historic, made from mother dough that has been used since 1849.

Rib & BBQ Combo from Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q

From: Decatur, AL

Credited with creating Alabama white sauce, Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q is one of the oldest barbecue restaurants in America, and one of the best. Order a combo package for ribs and your choice of BBQ and sauce.

Pit Beef from Chap's Pit Beef

From: Baltimore, MD

If you've never experienced the magic that is the pit beef sandwich, it's a national treasure that consists of thin-sliced roast beef (cooked over charcoal fire), horseradish, BBQ sauce, onion, and pickles; all served on a potato roll. While franchises of Chap's have opened around the Mid-Atlantic, you can't beat the original in Baltimore.

Muffulettas from Central Grocery

From: New Orleans, LA

The famous New Orlean sandwich of Italian cold cuts and chopped olive salad, among other things, was invented here, and we could not be more grateful. If you'd like to make your own version at home, Central Grocery is selling jars of its famous olive salad, too.
