The latest installment will take place in New York City from September 17th to 21st, on a 225-foot floating, pop-up restaurant on Manhattan's East River. The five-day residency features a star-studded line-up, including Philadelphia chef Michael Solomonov, Food & Wine Best New Chefs Kwame Onwuachi, Nancy Silverton, and Stephanie Izard. Each chef will create a different menu for lunch, aperitivo, dinner and late night, while Zwann Grays of Brooklyn's Olmsted and Maison Yaki curates an accompanying wine list. Resy "It's totally exhilarating," says Solomonov of cooking in person again. "Hosting guests on Zoom just isn't the same. You don't get that magnetic energy that comes from engaging in person so I'm grateful that an event like this can happen." Solomonov's menu includes a kataifi-wrapped halloumi with apples and huckleberries, as well as a 30-day dry aged veal. "It's a dish that we reserve for special events here at the restaurant. We do all of the preparation including dry-aging and curing the veal in-house," he notes. "It's pretty time-intensive, but it's a labor of love." The NYC dinner series is the latest in a string of events meant to celebrate the newly refreshed American Express Platinum Card, designed specifically for those who love (and missed) dining out and traveling. Cardholders receive access to exclusive restaurant reservations, events, and more via Resy's Global Dining Access program, as well as priority VIP status on notify lists for hard-to-get tables across the world.
