For many of us, the most wonderful time of the year is marked by Trader Joe’s holiday releases. There’s a lot to enjoy among the new releases and old favorites returning to the shelves. Here are our top holiday picks — from peppermint meringue to a vegan gingerbread loaf — that are worth a trip to the store. Chocolate Peppermint Loaf & Baking Mix With the baking season in full gear, I hesitated to try the Trader Joe's Chocolate Peppermint Loaf & Baking Mix for a holiday party. But I was pleasantly surprised — the cake was moist and full of flavor. Given this mix's delicious flavor, ease of preparation, and crowd-pleasing appeal, I'm going to keep it on my holiday baking list. Besides baking a loaf, the mix makes crinkle cookies that I'm pretty excited to try. Jingle Jangle As delightful to eat as it is to say, Jingle Jangle is a fun mix of chocolate, candy, and pretzels. While I love a good simple chocolate-covered pretzel, this mix is just completely next-level with miniature peanut butter cups, chocolate covered popcorn, red candies, and even some broken Joe-Joe’s (their variation of a chocolate cream sandwich cookie). Multi-Flavor Joe-Joe's This year, Trader Joe’s put a festive spin on their famous cookies by introducing limited-edition flavors inspired by the holiday season. These include peanut butter in milk chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle, vanilla in ginger-infused white chocolate with ginger cookie sprinkles, double chocolate in dark chocolate with milk chocolate drizzle, and candy cane. As a non-purist Joe-Joe fan, I really appreciate the festive twists. Vegan Gingerbread Loaf If you try anything from this list, make this vegan gingerbread loaf. This delectable loaf is the perfect combination of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, and is a delicious alternative to traditional gingerbread. It is 100% plant-based and free from dairy, eggs, and animal byproducts. I couldn’t stop eating this; I slowly strayed away from cutting slices of it to just eating it right out of the container with a fork. Dark Chocolate Gingerbread Folk Both delicious and adorable, these gingerbread cookies have a great balance of sweet and spice. The dark chocolate coating adds a bit of richness and a nice contrast to the spiciness of the cookie. They will absolutely be on my holiday platters this season. Peppermint Meringue I’ll preface this by saying that I absolutely love meringue, especially Trader Joe’s meringue. For a holiday touch, their holiday peppermint meringue is light and airy, with just the right amount of peppermint sweetness. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
