Pyrex Is Bringing Back a Coveted Vintage Pattern
This March, Pyrex will revive one of the its most coveted patterns—first introduced in 1959—for a new line at Target.
Some Pyrex collectors pay thousands for a piece of vintage cookware. Now, you can get a four-piece set that looks just like grandma's for just $12.
This March, Pyrex will revive one of its most coveted patterns—first introduced in 1959. The pattern, called Lucky in Love, will be a limited-edition line for the brand and is now available at pyrexware.com and will be available at Target stores and Macys.com this spring. The design features hearts and shamrocks, making it perfect for St. Patrick's Day entertaining.
The nearly-indestructible storage dishes (which all come with lids), will be sold in a variety of shapes and sizes . The round dishes range in size from one cup to seven cup and are priced between $4 and $8. The rectangular dishes are offered in 3-cup, 6-cup, and 11-cup sizes, ranging in price from $6 to $10.
Don't let the low price fool you—Pyrex dishes are known for standing the test of time. Plus, old-school glassware is making a comeback. According to Etsy, searches for vintage Pyrex, opaque milk glass, shimming carnival glass, and textured Depression glass were at an all-time high earlier this year.
