Here's Ree Drummond's Breakfast Order at Her Own Restaurant
Here's Ree Drummond's Breakfast Order at Her Own Restaurant A cozy breakfast date with hubby Ladd was just what the cattle doctor called for.
Crunchy croissant french toast. Ree's Drummond's homemade cinnamon rolls. A country-style biscuit sandwich piled high with sharp cheddar, begging for a ladle of sausage gravy. Settling on your breakfast order at Drummond's Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma is no easy task.
Thankfully, the Pioneer Woman just made narrowing down our choices easier by revealing to fans what she ordered on a breakfast date with husband Ladd this past weekend. "I had Migas (with guac, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and breakfast potatoes) and a biscuit w/ jam, which was so totally unnecessary but delightfully so. Ha," she captions a photo of their delectable meal, posted on instagram on Saturday, February 24th. Migas, if you're unfamiliar, is a scrambled eggs dish fancied up with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cheese, along with a generous sprinkle of lightly fried corn tortilla strips.
"Meanwhile, Ladd had the pancake breakfast and I swiped a bite. Okay, two bites. It was fun being at @pwmercantile with the breakfast crowd, and I got to have some quality time with my cowboy. And okay, it was three bites," she continues.
The restaurant's menu notes that Ladd's grandma Edna Mae's recipe (aww) are used for their "tender and delicious pancakes, topped with our three-flavor butter sampler."
