Feel Like You’re Flying to Hong Kong With Cathay Pacific’s Signature Drink Recipe
Mix this delicious drink with or without alcohol.
The 16-hour flight from New York to Hong Kong isn’t easy, but Cathay Pacific certainly knows how to make it comfortable. In fact, last year, I took the long-haul flight from JFK to Hong Kong International Airport twice. And both times — once in business and once in premium economy — I felt like royalty.
Now, Cathay Pacific wants you to feel as special as I did by bringing a little piece of their in-flight experience to you on the ground at home. The airline recently shared the recipe for its signature drink, the Cathay Delight, so you can whip it up in your own kitchen. Made with a mix of milk, coconut milk, kiwi juice, and mint leaves, the result is refreshing, tasty, and guaranteed to transport you into the skies over Hong Kong.
Even better, the Cathay Delight can be served as a mocktail or paired with the alcohol of your choice. Spice it up a little with El Tesoro Blanco tequila or, if you want to stick with the flying theme, add a splash of Aviation American Gin.
As we currently stay home to stop the spread of coronavirus, a vacation might only be part of a recurring daydream. But with this delicious drink by your side, that daydream just got a little better.
