  • An expert in raw food materials and price forecasting, Steven has nearly 20 years of experience in food and grocery supply chain management, working alongside culinary teams from restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, Benihana, Olive Garden, Fleming’s, PF Chang’s, and California Pizza Kitchen.
  • His work has appeared in publications like The Packer, Produce News, Food & Wine, The Spruce Eats, and more.


Steven joined the Birmingham Food Lab as Procurement + Inventory Manager in May 2022. Prior to joining Dotdash Meredith, Steven spent the vast majority of his professional career in fresh produce and grocery distribution at companies like Pro*Act USA, Produce Alliance, and DiMare Fresh. 

Steven began his career working Back of the House at The Cheesecake Factory before moving on to Pro*Act member Adams Produce Company in Birmingham, Alabama. After nearly eight years, he transitioned to Produce Alliance, switching focus from the Southeast region to full international distribution. A Nashville native, Steven studied English at Samford University.
