This recipe was absolutely delicious! It was easy to make and my husband said it far exceeded his expectations. The only changes I made was I used fresh mint instead of dried and smoked paprika instead of urfa pepper (couldn't find that item). I also topped soup with a tiny heart-shaped drizzle of quality olive oil. The velibah was fabulous too! I nick-named it "Pierogi Bread" since it tastes so similar to pierogis, which is a favorite dish in our home. We enjoyed this meal with a Syrah, which really paired well. I prepared the soup and bread on the first snowstorm of the year in NW Indiana - and we will now refer to it as our "snow day soup" also. Will definitely keep this recipe to make over and over again for family and friends.
