Rather than blending orange bitters into the drink, mixologist Bill Norris uses them as a fragrant garnish. You can add the bitters as drops, as Norris does, or mist them over the drink with an atomizer (available at beauty-supply stores).

In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the bitters and shake vigorously. Fill the shaker with ice and shake again. Strain into a chilled white wine glass and garnish with the bitters.
