Tamarind and Tonic

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tamarind syrup (see Note)

  • 4 quarts chilled tonic

  • 2 lemons (thinly sliced)

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large punch bowl or 2 large pitchers and serve in tall glasses over ice.

Notes

Sweetened tamarind syrup (tamarindo) is available at most Asian and Latin markets.
