The unbaked biscuits can be frozen: Freeze biscuits in a single layer and transfer to a resealable plastic bag for up to one month. Bake straight from the freezer, adding a few minutes to the cooking time.
These were delicious! I substituted skim milk w/a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice because I didn't have any buttermilk, and I didn't chill before baking because I was already pressed for time. Mine didn't have the same flaky appearance as in the photo, but the flavor and consistency were perfect. Will try again - adding the cooling time next time. Can't wait to make again.
