Suro-Mago

Mixologist Philip Ward named the bright, citrusy Suro-Mago after tequila advocate David Suro-Piñera, who owns Tequilas Restaurant in Philadelphia and makes the Siembra Azul tequila that Ward uses in the drink. Cocktail Party Recipes

  1. Rinse a chilled double rocks glass with the mezcal; discard the excess. Fill a pint glass with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist and stir well. Strain into the prepared glass, pinch the twist over the drink and discard the twist.
