LOVE this. I don't even like pork tenderloin but my husband does so I tried this recipe a few weeks' ago. Made him go out the grocery store tonight so I could make it again. SO good. (I use frozen mango as it's too hard to have perfectly ripe mango on hand when I get a craving for this). I serve it over rice.
Wouldn’t make again. The flavor is flat, not fresh like the picture and ingredients suggest. Barely any sauce and the cooking times are way off, the cooked mangoes don’t break down to smash with a spoon for more like 15 minutes. Totally agree with Ssprosser.
Made tonight for small, extended family (socially-distanced!) backyard gathering. Was a huge hit. Made 2x recipe for 4 adults and 2 teens, and almost ate whole lot. Perfect combo of spice/sweet. Pork deliciously tender. Definitely a keeper!
I just made this spicy mango pork last weekend for some friends and it was a hit. There is only 1 tablespoon of salt so it definitely is not too salty. We all concurred this recipe is a "keeper"
The family liked it. I used half the salt and that was plenty. I also cooked the heck out of the onions because our family doesn't like crunchy onions and substituted a small bell pepper from the garden for the serrano.
Way too salty. Not good at all . Would definitely not make again. This is my first time to comment on any recipe. I just think people should be warned before they spend time and money making a recipe that simply is not good. I followed the recipe precisely.
