  • In a large saucepan, combine the cold water with the cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until it is dissolved. Strain the tea into a pitcher and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
