Bartender Brook Chisholm named this cocktail after the cacti that often grow near agave, the plant used to make tequila. According to owner Brian Haltinner, "We have six types of bitters, but good old Angostura gives the best prickle."

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the prickly pear and lime wheels; shake well. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass; garnish with the prickly pear and lime wheels.
