Notes
Leckerli is a Swiss cookie that is traditionally pressed into special wooden molds to imprint designs on the surface of the cookie.
To dice the candied citrus rind easily for this cookie, occasionally spray or rub neutral cooking oil, like vegetable oil, on the blade of your knife to prevent the rinds from sticking. This trick also works well for dried fruit.
