La Melonada

  • 3/4 cantaloupe cubes

  • One 1/2-inch piece of peeled fresh ginger, chopped

  • 2 ounces silver tequila

  • 3/4 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec

  • 1/2 ounce water

  • 3/4 ounce Simple Syrup

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice

  • Ice


  1. In a blender, puree all of the ingredients except the ice. Strain into an ice-filled shaker. Shake well; strain into a chilled martini glass.
