Kenwood Flip

This New Orleans–inspired bourbon cocktail is bold and slightly bitter.



  • 3 strawberries, sliced

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar

  • 2 ounces bourbon

  • 1/2 ounce green Chartreuse

  • Ice

  • Dash of rhubarb bitters


  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries with the egg, lime juice and sugar. Add the bourbon and Chartreuse and shake vigorously, until frothy. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a martini glass and top with a dash of rhubarb bitters.
