This very simple and elegant goat cheese spread from chef Colby Garrelts is a perfect party starter.

1/2 pound fresh goat cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
4 slices toasted country bread
1/2 cup drained jarred sour cherries, chopped
4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto (8 slices)
How to Make It
In a medium bowl, combine the goat cheese, cream cheese and milk. Using a hand-held electric mixer, beat the cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in the olive oil. Scrape the cheese into a ramekin or small bowl. Drizzle the honey on top. Serve with the toasted bread, the cherries and prosciutto.
