Honey-Lemon Dressing


This simple lemon dressing gets extra flavor from a touch of lemon zest and freshly chopped thyme leaves. A small amount of honey helps round out the taste without adding too much sweetness. Plus: More Perfect Salad Dressings Great Green Salads

Makes 1/2 cup


  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • ½ teaspoon chopped thyme

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice with the lemon zest, honey and thyme. Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
