This recipe was too yeasty in flavor. By adding the melted butter at the end made it taste like a pretzel and not like naan at all. Also the dough needs some salt added to it. I wont' make this again.
This recipe came out great for me- I brought both the milk and yogurt to room temperature before mixing. I didn’t see the step about covering the skillet after flipping the bread over so that didn’t happen, haha. I also omitted the second brush of butter and we didn’t miss it at all. While the dough ingredients were different, the cooking was the same as making tortillas.
I followed this recipe to the letter and it turned out to be a very large, heavy, hard load of unmovable dough. I ran it through my kitchen aid to try to soften it, but it made the motor strain. I am tossing it in the can now and going back to the store for more yogurt. This has been a big waste of money.
