This drink was inspired by the Avenue cocktail in the 1937 Café Royal Cocktail Book, which combined passion fruit juice and grenadine with Calvados and bourbon. More Rum Drinks

Yield:

1 drink

Ingredients

Ice cubes, plus crushed ice
1 1/2 ounces dark rum
1 1/2 ounces St-Germain elderflower liqueur
3/4 ounce passion fruit nectar or juice
1/4 ounce grenadine, preferably homemade

Directions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add all of the remaining ingredients except crushed ice and shake well. Strain into a crushed ice–filled snifter.
