Way too much soy sauce. I would cut down to one to two teaspoons. It just takes like salt.
Made the recipe exactly as printed; loved it! Next time will, add sliced water chestnuts and carrots, baby corn. Would like to try this with cubed chicken breast. Definitely try this recipe!
Delicious. I added a chili oil with sriracha to make my version of chile-garlic sauce. This gave it some heat if you like hot!
Delicious! With snow peas overflowing the bushes, this combination of ingredients made good use of the veggies and nicely emphasized the flavor. I too added shiitakes and a splash of white wine while cooking for a little deglazing and flavor. Poured over quinoa for a quick, tasty meal - Thanks!
This dish has potential. We found the flavors a bit pedestrian. Maybe next time we'll add garlic (in addition to the garlic chili paste), or just more chili paste. Maybe a touch of sweetener or at the risk of changing the recipe altogether, some chinese five spice. The cooking times were spot on.
Absolutely fantastic! I doubled the recipe, but kept proportions the same. The sauce is packed with flavor, but doesn't overpower the subtle flavors of the shrimp and snow peas...just the right amount of heat. Will definitely make again!!!
