This is some of the best garlic naan I have made. The recipe was easy to follow too.
Has anyone made the naan and made pizza and if so, is the naan fully cooked and then put the toppings on or is it parbaked?
The best naan I've ever made. I have also frozen cooked naan from this recipe and taste even better (if that's even possible)
These turned out perfect first time! I added the crushed garlic to the melted butter while I heated it, so I just brushed garlic butter straight onto the dough before cooking it rather than sprinkling it with crushed garlic as a separate step like this recipe says. While the first side cooked, I brushed garlic butter on the 2nd side before flipping it. I don't have a cast iron skillet, so I just used a heavy-based frypan. I didn’t cover the pan, and they turned out fine, but it would be interesting to see what difference it makes. I didn’t brush more butter on afterwards, and I didn’t sprinkle them with salt either, because I used salted butter. I did sprinkle them with nigella seeds. I used warm water for the yeast, like I do with pizza dough, so I also warmed the milk/yoghurt mix slightly before adding the yeast water, to keep it multiplying. Thanks for a delicious recipe!
oh wow - this was definitely the best nan recipe I have made I love Indian food. Funny
I agree with the other comments, WAY too many up ads. To finally get through the recipe I had to screenshot it and work off those. When I was able to do that, this became my favorite naan recipe, and I have tried several from Allrecipes.
Excellent !
