Cucumber Mint Creole

  • 2 mint sprigs

  • 4 unpeeled cucumber wheels

  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup

  • Ice

  • 1 1/2 ounces gin

  • 1/2 ounce Dry Sack sherry

  • 1/2 ounce cask-aged aquavit (caraway-flavored distilled spirit), preferably Linie


  1. In a pint glass, muddle the leaves from 1 of the mint sprigs with 3 of the cucumber wheels, the lemon juice and the Simple Syrup. Add ice and the gin, sherry and aquavit and stir well. Double strain the drink into a chilled coupe and garnish with the remaining mint sprig and cucumber wheel.
