Best crispy salmon ever using this cooking method! I usually sear skin down, flip and finish under the broiler but that never got the non skin side crisp. This works and didn’t burn. I used a miso marinade but made sure to wipe it off before putting in the hot pan. I also turned the heat down to medium high after about a minute.
Tried this and it just really burnt my salmon. I would not recommend using high heat at all with a cast iron frying pain. Try medium heat instead, and use butter instead of oil. Also, skin side down. Do not follow this recipe. :(
