Slideshow: More Cherry Cocktails By Chris Hannah Updated on March 28, 2015 Print Rate It Share Share Tweet Pin Email Yield: 1 drink Ingredients 1 lemon wedge Sugar 1 long strip of grapefruit zest, for garnish Ice 1 1/2 ounces genever, preferably Bols 1/2 ounce Heering cherry liqueur 1/4 ounce absinthe 3/4 ounce fresh Ruby Red grapefruit juice 2 dashes of grapefruit bitters Directions Moisten half of the outer rim of a chilled rocks glass with the lemon wedge and coat lightly with sugar. Arrange the grapefruit zest in the glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the genever, cherry liqueur, absinthe, grapefruit juice and bitters to the shaker and shake well.
