Cannabis-Infused Citrus-Caramel Blondies
Editor’s Note: This recipe has been modified from the version developed by Sarah Simmons to include cannabutter instead of regular butter. You’ll find the original non-cannabis recipe here. Sarah Simmons came up with these moist, chewy blondies when she was left with extra caramel after an event. The little bit of orange zest is lovely with the sweet-salty caramel. Note: As cannabis regulation continues to evolve across the United States and around the world, please consult your local laws. Slideshow: Delicious Dessert Bars
The blondies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Each serving contains about 8 mg THC based on the Premium Cannabutter recipe and a 20% THC strain of cannabis.
Maldon sea salt has a great crunch and a remarkably subtle, briny flavor. It is available at most grocery stores and online.
