Inspired by the use of multiple rums in many tiki drinks, Marco Dionysos concocted a Mai Tai variation calling for two kinds of whiskey: bourbon, which is traditionally from Kentucky bluegrass country, and rye.

Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Add the bourbon, rye whiskey, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and orgeat and shake well. Pour the drink unstrained into a chilled double rocks glass and add more crushed ice. Sift powdered sugar over the mint sprig and garnish the drink.
