In a cocktail shaker, muddle 4 of the basil leaves with 4 of the grapes and the Simple Syrup. Add ice and the vodka, lime juice and bitters and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass and stir in the ginger ale. Garnish with the remaining 2 basil leaves and 2 grapes.
