Jack McGarry makes his own easy raspberry cordial to shake with Irish whiskey (a type of whiskey that tends to be lighter and less smoky than Scotch). He adds Orinoco bitters, a 19th-century style of bitters similar to Angostura. Slideshows: Irish Whiskey Drinks

Step
In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the garnish. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the nutmeg.
