  • Place sugar in a medium saucepan; add water to cover. Stir in corn syrup and salt, and bring to a boil over medium. Boil sugar mixture, stirring occasionally, until caramel in color, about 7 minutes. Whisk in warm cream, and return to a simmer. Add bananas, and cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thoroughly combined, about 3 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat, and process with an immersion blender until sauce is smooth, about 1 minute.
