1 tablespoon cracked or very coarsely grated nutmeg
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
How to Make It
In a small saucepan, combine cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add water and sugar and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Strain the syrup into a heatproof jar and let cool, then cover and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
