Place the ginger in another small saucepan with 1 cup of cool water. Bring to a boil and drain. Repeat this process 2 more times. Add the drained ginger to the Simple Syrup and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve With Salmon with Olympia Oysters, Hijiki Seaweed and Ginger-Shiso-Mirin Broth. Rate it Print
