Washing Machine Soup: The coffeemaker isn’t the only multiuse appliancein your house. According to one MacGyver-esque cook, you can make soup in your washing machine. All you do is load the ingredients into the machine, set it so that it won’t drain and turn it on hot. The only down side? It will ruin your washing machine. [Rocket News 24]

Pickle Corn Dogs: One of the best fair foods we’ve heard of in a while is the corn dog from Pickle O’ Pete at California’s Orange County Fair. It’s a hollowed out pickle, stuffed with a hot dog, dipped in batter and deep-fried. [Neatorama]

Sushi Corn Dogs: In other corn dog news, Culinary Bro-Down, a frat guy-ish food site, has created a deep-fried spicy tuna “corn dog.” The recipe calls for an uncut spicy tuna roll from “your cheapest, dirtiest local supermarket,” which is skewered, battered, deep-fried and served with spicy mayo. Cookie Cheese Pizza: You think you’ve seen a cookie pizza—but you haven’t. What you’ve seen is just a very big cookie. Michael J. Hudson, a Detroit genius, recently created a real cookie pizza by spreading raw cookie dough on top of an uncooked DiGiorno four-cheese pizza, then baking it. The review: “Not terrible.” [Buzzfeed]
