Have you ever looked at your water bottle and thought, I wish I had a bottle just like this one only smaller, but then almost immediately regretted that choice? Wouldn’t it be better if there was a water bottle that could change sizes based on your every whim? Well, there’s a Kickstarter for that.

que Bottle is described as “the fashionable and collapsible travel bottle.” As someone who is currently wearing not-purposefully-ripped jeans and a T-shirt he got for free at a beer festival, I can’t speak to the fashionable part, but the collapsible part does look pretty cool, featuring a “unique spiral design [that] shrinks que bottle to half of its size.” It’s kind like a Slinky in bottle form.

For those who need more than a stretchy bottle, que touts a lot of other features as well. “Made of 100% BPA-free food-grade silicone, que Bottle is 100% plastic-free, making it safe for people and the planet,” the Kickstarter states. “It’s lightweight and compact, taste and odor free, stain and bacteria resistant, dishwasher safe, and safe to use for both hot (up to 140F) and cold beverages…. Collapsed que bottle can be used as a small-sized bottle, making it even more versatile.”

Response to the Que Bottle has certainly been impressive: With over three weeks left to go in the Kickstarter campaign, the bottle brand has already raised over $60,000 – three times its original goal. The bottles aren’t particularly cheap either: With all the early bird pledges gone, the best deal backers can get an individual Que for right now is $22. But then again, can you put a price on fashion?? Okay, well how about this: Can you put a price on being able to stretch something out like a Slinky??
