Relive the Pizza Hut of Your Childhood with Red Cups and More Throwback Merch

The chain turned its classic tablecloth pattern and stained glass light fixtures into t-shirts, sandals, and tracksuits.

The most popular restaurant chains aren't just about the food: They've connected with us on a deeper emotional level — whether it's the Golden Arches, BK crowns, or Munch's Make Believe Band. Same goes for Pizza Hut. Yeah, the traditional pies are a bit thick for my now-adult-taste buds, but who can resist the nostalgia of red roofs, Tiffany-style lamps, and Book It?

Understanding the importance of its past, Pizza Hut has become the latest chain to launch its own online merch shop (every brand seems to have one these days from Frito-Lay to Franzia) — and though the concept may be modern, all of Pizza Hut's items are firmly rooted in their classic iconography. Heck, you can even buy the chain's plastic red cups.

Launching today at PizzaHutShop.com, the Pizza Hut Tastewear line — billed as the chain's "first-ever streetwear collection" — features five items, all of which are available exclusively through the online shop and will be sold for a limited time while supplies last.

Headlining the collection is a $99.99 Track Suit, with a pattern built around Pizza Hut's red and white checkered tablecloths. That outfit pairs well with the $24.99 Pizza Slides sandals that use a similar scheme.

Anyone looking for something simpler (and cheaper), the Tiffany Lamp T-Shirt is a straightforward white T sporting a graphic take on Pizza Hut's signature lighting choice for just $15.99. Or for something flashier, The Pizza Chain is a golden-colored pizza slice with bejeweled pepperonis to wear around your neck, priced at $19.99.

And finally, for the practical nostalgist, for $9.99, you can order a four-piece set of the aforementioned classic Red Cups to drink whatever you want with Pizza Hut-style in the comfort of your own home. (You know adult you can't wait to drink a whiskey and Coke out of one of those things.)

"We're so excited to give our biggest fans a chance to show off their pizza love through fun, trending streetwear-inspired pieces that are still classically Pizza Hut," Lindsay Morgan, the chain's chief marketing officer, stated. "From the bejeweled pepperoni chain to the classic red cups, our team thoughtfully crafted the details to give fans nationwide a fresh way to show off their Pizza Hut love."

And Pizza Hut says these five products are just the beginning. "The Pizza Hut Tastewear collection marks the first of many Hut Shop drops offered exclusively through the new PizzaHutShop.com," the company writes. Can deep dish pizza pans be far behind?
