Pitbull's New Miami Restaurant Will Be Extraordinarily Pitbull
This summer, the Grammy-winning artist Pitbull is opening a restaurant-cocktail-nightlife concept, iLov305, inside the Bon Air Hotel on Miami Beach’s Ocean Drive. The main dining space, four bars and VIP rooms will be housed inside the "Where What Happens, Never Happened" venue, which is 9,000 square feet large.
“iLov305 says it all," Pitbull said in a recent statement detailing the project, which was first announced in October. "I want everyone to feel, see, share the same passion and love I have for Miami. iLov305 will have the most energy that Ocean Drive has ever seen, Dale!”
According to the release, guests will be "greeted by cigar rollers and various retail items" in the waiting room, which sounds just about as Miami as it gets. The first floor offers a daiquiri bar, too, with a vintage Havana club aesthetic. But perhaps the most inspired room in the complex is the "Dale!" Room. The "Dale!" Room, named after one of Pitbull's inspirational catchphrases, will serve as the singer's own private hangout, with its own bar and bathroom. (Guests will be able to access the area when Pitbull is not on-site.)
iLove305 is not, however, all about partying; it is also about eating. Chef Bryan Ogden designed a menu to be both "diverse" and "approachable," offering American comfort food and modern Latin cuisine. There's a Cubano sandwich, of course, as well as plenty of Yellowfin tuna, pork belly sliders, rock lobster tail and guava bread pudding made with queso blanco. The over-100-drink cocktail menu will prominently feature Pitbull’s Voli 305 Vodka and over 50 different types of mojitos, the signature one being the Dale Mojito, obviously.
This will not be Pitbull's first culinary venture. The singer also owns a restaurant in the Dominican Republic and is an investor in Miami Subs Grill.
