Pippa Middleton Admits She Hasn’t Cooked All the Recipes in Her Own Cookbook
Pippa Middleton seems like a relatively sensible person to have a cookbook. After all, the royal sister-in-law originally came to the world’s attention thanks to her figure which was noted by even casual observers during the 2011 wedding of Prince William to her sister Kate. Why not see if eating what she eats can give you the kind of body that will propel you into the international spotlight?
There’s only one little problem with that theory... Well, actually, there are many big problems with that theory, but here’s one you may not have expected: Pippa Middleton apparently hasn’t even made everything in the forthcoming Pippa Middleton cookbook.
Heartfelt, a book billed as containing “over 100 quick & easy recipes for a healthy heart,” comes out on September 29, with all proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation – definitely a worthy cause where Pippa has served as an ambassador since 2014. In the book’s description, Middleton herself writes, “I have worked alongside a team of experts in the production of this book, starting with the Waitrose Weekend Food Editors, who helped to create the recipes and have been supportive throughout. BHF’s registered dietitians have also advised me throughout the process, and each of the recipes has been analysed for its nutritional content. Finally, they have been road-tested for cooking practicality and deliciousness. Each works not just in taste but also in the provision of energy and sustenance for an active life. We are all delighted to recommend them.”
However, according to The Daily Mail, the famed sister admits about the recipes, “I would like to say I have made every single one, but I have definitely done a good 80 per cent of them. I made a lot of the dishes at home.”
That all being said, don’t give up on your royal dreams yet. Additionally, Pippa told The Daily Mail, “'I also tried some of the dishes out on the family” – specifically Kate. Well why didn’t you say so? Who cares what Pippa cooked or didn’t cook, just make the title: “Heartfelt: Over 100 Quick & Easy Recipes – At Least One of Which Was Eaten by Princess Kate!” That should raise tons of cash for the British Heart Foundation.
