It's almost 3 p.m., your eyelids feel like they weigh six pounds each, and you're solidly in a mid-afternoon funk. This is about the time when you're debating whether to make another cup of coffee, grab a terrifying-looking energy drink out of the fridge, or open... a can of Perrier?

No joke, the sparkling water brand is launching its first-ever energy drink, and each can of Perrier Energize has 99 milligrams of caffeine—which is roughly the equivalent of a cup of joe. According to a press release from the company, Perrier Energize gets its kick from plant-based ingredients, including organic green coffee and yerba mate extracts.

The drink, which is scheduled to hit store shelves this weekend, will be available in three flavors: Grapefruit, Pomegranate, and Tangerine. All three versions have been certified organic by the USDA. As of this writing, an 18-can variety pack is available from Amazon for around $22, and they'll be priced at $1.99 per can or $6.49 per 10-pack as they roll out to additional retailers.

Perrier isn't the only brand who thinks we could all use a little boost right now. In January, Coca-Cola released five varieties of its Coca-Cola with Coffee. Each 12-ounce can is exactly what you're imagining: a combination of Coke and Brazilian coffee (although each serving has 69 milligrams of caffeine, which is less than what you'll get from either a cup of coffee or a can of Perrier Energize).

"Coca-Cola with Coffee is a true hybrid innovation that provides the perfect solution for that mid-afternoon pick-me-up we all want, especially in today's work-from-home environment," Brandan Strickland, brand director for Coca-Cola Trademark, said in a statement. "Now, you don't need to leave Coca-Cola to get your coffee fix."

If you'd like to give Perrier Energize a try without spending a cent, the company will reportedly be giving some away this weekend. For a chance to win, you'll need to follow the @PerrierUSA account and wait for it to share the contest rules on Thursday, March 11. (Apparently you're going to need to type the #PerrierEnergize and #Sweepstakes hashtags too.)

Hopefully they'll post the details before late afternoon because our brains aren't exactly at their best then.
