New Oreo Candy Bars Will Definitely Be Better Than All Those Weird Cookie Flavors
Over the last couple years Oreo cookies have had shall we say, some creative reinvention. From Swedish Fish flavored cookies to pumpkin spice and cotton candy options, let’s just say they haven’t all been winners. But the newest cookie from Oreo isn’t actually a cookie at all and it tastes pretty damn good. Teaming up with Milka (the European chocolate giant that is also under the giant Mondelez food umbrella), Oreo has a couple new candy bars set to hit grocery stores, pharmacies and various other homes to the sandwich cookies.
The Big Crunch Bar is the first of the two chocolate options that will start rolling out this week. Essentially a giant, rectangular, milk chocolate covered Oreo, it’s a bit on the sweet side, but if that’s your bag this could very well be your new favorite candy bar. At 10.5 ounces, Oreo says it’s for sharing, but lets be realistic here: no one is doing that.
The other bar is the Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar, like a cookies and cream chocolate bar, but filled with Oreos so…you know…better. It won’t hit shelves until January, so you’ll have to wait a bit to get your hands on one.
We’d just like to say a thank you to Oreo for finally figuring that chocolate cookies pair better with chocolate than they do with gummy candy.
