National Pizza Day 2020: Where to Get Free Pizza and Other Deals
The holiday coincides with the Oscars this year, in case you’re hosting a party.
Pizza is an absolutely perfect food, combining the holy trinity of cheese, bread, and sauce, so however you feel about the influx of somewhat questionable national food holidays, we're sure you can support pizza discounts.
This year for National Pizza Day, brands including &pizza, Postmates, and Cicis are offering discounted (and, in some cases, free) pies to celebrate. The holiday falls on Sunday, February 9—which happens to be Oscars Sunday, in case you need food to fuel your viewing party—but you can also take advantage of a few early offers, too. Read on to find out all of the deals we’ve found so far.
The chain, which is known for its conveyor belt pizza, will offer a deal at all 37 of its locations, which are spread between Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C. Between February 7 and February 9, you can score an OG pie for only $3 when you buy one pizza. There are three to choose from: the Gnarlic (garlic ricotta, fresh mozzarella, grilled onion, basil pesto, Parmesan), Lil Roni (classic tomato, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni), and The OG (classic tomato, fresh mozzarella, grape tomatoes, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper).
If you're expecting a child on February 9, you can also get free pizza—cauliflower crust pizza, that is. Starting that Sunday, customers can head over to BornOnPizzaDay.com to send expecting friends and family (or themselves) a year’s supply of pizza along with “other baby essentials.” Offers will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Between February 3 and February 9, customers can grab three large one-topping pizzas for just $5 each in a carryout deal. All you need to do is present this coupon.
Even though Einstein Bros. is a bagel chain, it’s celebrating National Pizza Day, too. All week through February 9, customers can get two slices of “pizza bagel”—aka bagels topped with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni—for $3 with any purchase. The deal is only valid at participating locations. Head over to the official website to fill out a form and join the rewards program so you can claim the offer.
Fans of Blaze pizza can get a special deal on Postmates to celebrate the holiday. For orders of $25 or more, enter the code “PIZZADAY” at checkout to receive a free large 14-inch pizza. (Free pizzas will be available while supplies last.)
Although not specifically tied to National Pizza Day, several popular chains have deals going on this week too, including Pizza Hut, Domino’s, and Papa John’s. Head to their individual deal pages to see where you can save.
