Laurel and Hardy. Sonny and Cher. Uh… Cheech and Chong. The world has seen plenty of great entertainment duos. And in a match anyone who lived through the '90s never saw coming, we can now add Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg to that list.

Since the successful launch of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party in 2016, the pair have regularly worked together. Now, in their latest unexpected synergy, Martha has just released a wine under the same brand as Snoop, 19 Crimes.

Martha's Chard is the first California Chardonnay from 19 Crimes, joining the brand's two other wines from the state: Snoop Dogg's Snoop Cali Red and Rosé. (The rest of 19 Crimes wines are from Australia.) The brand explains that "Martha worked side by side with 19 Crimes to create a wine that breaks preconceived notions of California Chardonnay — approachable and simultaneously as bold as her personality." Stewart even bragged to People that the "big majority of the people who tested the wine … chose my version, the final version, over the 19 Crimes version."

The Chard is certainly approachable in its suggested retail price: $11.99. The white wine will be available nationwide, and it should be easy to spot, prominently featuring Martha's face on the label.

"I am thrilled to announce the launch of Martha's Chard in partnership with 19 Crimes," Martha Stewart stated in the announcement. "The world didn't need just another Chardonnay, so I created one that is clean, crisp, and flavorful without being too heavy or oaky. It pairs perfectly with my delicious recipes or can be enjoyed on its own. I hope you love it as much as I do!"

Needless to say, John Wardley — vice president of brand marketing, Americas, for 19 Crimes parent company, Treasury Wine Estates — acknowledged that landing both members of this modern odd couple was quite the coup. "The release of 19 Crimes Martha's Chard comes as the brand has experienced explosive growth, delivering the #1 US Wine Innovations in both 2020 and 2021 for our first California wines with global icon, Snoop Dogg," he stated. "Just like her creative collaborator and friend Snoop, Martha Stewart also embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes — disruption and culture creation. We couldn't be more excited to welcome another absolute icon of modern American culture to the 19 Crimes family."

Working with 19 Crimes is far from Martha's first foray into wine. In 2017, she launched her own Martha Stewart Wine Shop and admitted that, yes, she personally tastes every single wine she stocks.
