Every year KitchenAid unveils a new color (last year's was the vibrant Kyoto Glow), and this year it's a warming note in what feels like an exceptionally long winter. Fortunately, the newest addition to the KitchenAid color spectrum comes in the form of two of its most useful kitchen workhorses. "Honey" is the latest color in KitchenAid's long line (and extensive list) of colors for the brand's quality small appliances and kitchen tools. It looks like a golden pour of the classic sweet ingredient, with the signature sleek sheen and orange hue. It lands somewhere between "persimmon" and "tangerine" (if you're a KitchenAid color expert)—a brighter orange than the fall fruit and a touch less tropical than the citrus iteration. KitchenAid Two of KitchenAid's classic tools are available in the new color right now: the iconic Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and the powerful K400 Variable Speed Blender. The mixer exists in a total of 48 colors now, and the 5-quart edition has ten speeds and ten hub-powered attachments that can do everything from grinding meat to spiralizing vegetables. The K400 blender crushes everything from kale to almonds and features an easy self-clean cycle to make cleanup simple. KitchenAid The brand aims to spark inspiration in the kitchen, ever since it first began with color products in 1955. "For KitchenAid, it has become increasingly evident that the warmth of humanity is paramount," said Jon Bellante, KitchenAid global marketing director. "Honey isn't just a product we use in recipes around the globe; it's an invitation to connect and a reminder of the joy that comes from collaboration." See below for the details on the tools featured in honey, and be on the lookout for more from KitchenAid this year. Maybe whip up a honey flower pie with that mixer, once it arrives.
