It turns out the company behind Instant Pot's next big idea was just one letter away. Swap the “T” with a “D,” and you’ve got “Instant Pod,” the latest appliance from Instant Brands. Sorry, Keurig and Nespresso, but Instant is coming for your pod coffee machines. Both of them, in fact: the new appliance takes both Keurig and Nespresso pods.

The single brew coffee and espresso machine boasts one-touch programs for two-ounce, four-ounce, and six-ounce Nespresso pods and for eight-ounce, ten-ounce, and twelve-ounce K-cups. Don’t worry: Instant says the machine is totally cool with making tea or handling reusable pods, too. So what would you pay for such a device? Currently a Walmart exclusive, the machine is $119. If you happen to have an extra $29.92, you can also grab the Instant Pod Milk Frother, too.

“Our goal at Instant Brands is to change the way people prepare meals and beverages in their home with products that help re-define what taste, convenience and multi-functionality mean in today's kitchen,” Robert Wang, the company’s founder and chief innovation, said. “With the new Instant Pod, coffee lovers can kickstart their day with fresh brewed coffee or espresso drinks from one amazing machine. Why take up space with a machine that can only do one thing? The Instant Pod brews both!”

Though Instant Brands officially announced the new machine this week, according to, it actually has dozens of reviews dating back to May, meaning it seems to have received a soft launch months ago.

At this point, the feedback has been solid: 4.1 stars out of five. Of course, your mileage may vary—but if you’re currently torn between a Nespresso machine and a Keurig machine, the two-for-one pitch alone is pretty compelling.
